The relationship between parents and children and the issues that come with it have always existed. Beyond the obvious generational differences, in every modern era there are new factors that widen the gap. One issue that comes up quite often is how much children need to listen to their parents when it comes to major life decisions. Parents may add their opinions and advice in their children’s decisions and it can cause issues between them. This is a difficult dilemma for parents and children. Emotions can also cloud judgment and differences in choices can lead to bigger problems. This booklet seeks to understand the role parents play in their children’s decisions.
